This CD Booklet was created a bit differently than most of the work that I do. I was given no ideas to start with, other than the phrase, 'Just Do It.' So getting an idea to start with was quite difficult. I eventually sat down and listened to the music this artwork was supposed to be representing and began to work on the art. The music itself was quite simplistic. However, the combination of the acoustic sound mixed with edgey punk riffs and a scratchy nasaly voice gave it a full and interesting sound. It was that aspect that I chose to exemplify in the artwork, although, this did not occur to me until after I completely finished the art. The artsy flourishes, dot patterns, and font mixed with grungy accents fit the music perfectly.
