Little Miss Shiner Pageant - 2008

This layout was done for the Shiner Chamber of Commerce. It was quite an interesting project. The layout came easy. I wanted something elegant and simplistic. The designs had to be in black and white because of the way the program was to be printed, so while designing, that was my main focus. The challenge lay not in the design, but in scanning in and editing the business cards and advertisements. The difficulty in that was making sure that the text could be read easily and if a card did happen to be in color, translating that to black and white while still maintaining readability. Overall, it was a fun project. Thus far, I have been in charge of this 2008 and design and the 2009 design. The 2009 design used the same layout.
